Your tasks

• Logistics specialists work in the warehouses of industrial, commercial and production companies. They are deployed wherever goods of any kind are transported, stored, distributed and managed - be it consumer and production goods, letters, parcels or luggage.
• You receive, check and record delivered goods in the merchandise management system. You will store the goods in a suitable manner using forklift trucks, tugger trains or cross-seat vehicles. You prepare ordered goods for delivery. You pack and label them, draw up the delivery documents and then load the vehicles properly. Your tasks also include regularly checking stock levels to ensure that there are no overstocks or bottlenecks.
• Because goods are always on the move, you will have good prospects on the job market after successfully completing your apprenticeship.
