Aniviva in Ohmstal/LU is part of the Poultry organisational unit and develops innovative solutions for Swiss poultry production. Using state-of-the-art climate control, automation and production technology, we ensure the reliable and efficient operation of poultry houses. As a service technician, you will be the key technical point of contact: you will install, maintain and optimise our systems, troubleshoot faults and support our customers directly on site. In this way, you will play an active role in ensuring that modern, animal-friendly Production works in practice. Your tasks
- Installation, maintenance and repair of technical systems in poultry houses
- Analysis and rectification of faults on-site and via remote maintenance
- Commissioning and optimisation of climate control, control and production systems
- Technical advice and support for our customers
- Independent planning and execution of service calls throughout Switzerland
- Documentation of work carried out and preparation of service reports
- Participation in the on-call rota (approx. 1 week per month)
What you bring with you
- Completed training as an electrician (EFZ) or an installation electrician (EFZ)
- An interest in control systems, switch cabinets and technical installations
- Willingness to work throughout Switzerland, occasionally involving overnight stays
- Enjoyment of working in agriculture and in poultry houses
- A strong sense of responsibility, as well as the ability to work carefully, independently and conscientiously
- Knowledge of French and English would be an advantage
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Interest in further training, particularly in the field of gas installations
- Category B driving licence
