Your tasks
- Management and further development of European and international raw material procurement
- Lead buying function for selected classes of raw materials for all Hilcona plants
- Management, development and support of an employee in the area of packaging procurement
- Professional supplier management, contract negotiations and conclusion of strong purchasing agreements
- Monitoring market, price and quality developments to ensure optimal procurement conditions
- Close cross-departmental collaboration with Production, Supply Chain, Quality management and the other company locations
- Responsibility for projects in the areas of Procurement, Optimisation and Supply Chain Efficiency
What you bring with you
- Several years of experience in strategic and operational Purchasing - ideally in the food industry
- Completed business management training in Purchasing or relevant studies (food technology, business administration or similar)
- Experience in the management of projects
- Very good knowledge of English (business fluent), knowledge of French at a basic level is an advantage
- Winning, communicative personality that builds trust and has a proven track record of closing deals in negotiations
- Analytics, quality-conscious and with an eye for effectiveness
